Meet the Villablancas

The Villablancas are Carlos, Karolin, and Elias and Samuel. Karolin and Carlos got married in the Summer of 1999. The couple have always been active in congregational work throughout their church life. They have a wide experience of service which covers everything from Sunday school to youth work to Church planting.

For four years, from 2000-4, they have lived in Los Angeles, California. They moved there to allow Carlos to finish his theological education at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he was awarded a Masters in Divinity. Their time in Los Angeles consisted not only of fulltime studies but also real congregational work. They have also worked together as pastors and church planters. Their son Elias was born during this time in Los Angeles.

Karolin truly loves working with people both and in and outside of congregations, and is also a nurse. Furthermore, she has a heart for youth work.

Carlos works as a leadership and congregational consultant. Carlos’ heart is for the congregations he works with, and their development with an emphasis and focus on leadership development, mentoring, and congregational growth.

The couple returned to Sweden summer 2004 and live in Malmö, in Southern Sweden. Their second son, Andreas, was born late 2004.
